Christie Brinkley, 61, revealed her anti-aging vegan diet, yoga workout and beauty secrets on the Dr. Oz Show. Christie also defended fellow supermodel Cindy Crawford, who looked saggy in an unflattering unretouched Marie Claire photo.

Brinkley, 61, has been celebrated for her blonde bombshell looks her entire life, but has generated even more headlines lately for her age-defying beauty.

Christie said her anti-aging fitness secrets are a vegan diet and regular workouts that include yoga, Pilates, walking and lots of push-ups, Celebrity Health reported. Brinkley, who became vegetarian at age 12, calls herself a "flexible vegan" because she eats cheese.

The anti-aging health and weight loss benefits of a vegan diet are no surprise to Dr. David Katz, director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center.

“A diet of minimally processed foods close to nature â€" predominantly plants â€" is decisively associated with health promotion and disease prevention,” said Dr. Katz, author of Disease-Proof.

Dr. Neal Barnard, president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, agrees. “Studies suggest that free radicals [toxic molecules that form in the body] contribute to aging,” said Dr. Barnard.

“A vegan diet, rich in fruits and vegetables, is full of antioxidants which help protect the body from damage by free radicals.”

Despite her gorgeous exterior, Brinkley told Dr. Oz her true anti-aging secret is gratitude and a positive attitude. "I really think it has a lot to do with the fact that I am go grateful for everything," said Christie. "Ultimately your age is determined by your attitude."

Brinkley, who has weathered four divorces and her share of heartaches and disappointments, told Dr. Oz if you make an effort to feel good on the inside, you will look good on the outside.

"I love the expression, 'Bloom where you're planted,'" Christie gushed. "I truly find something to love about every minute of wherever I happen to be. I'm really much more concerned with how I feel [than how I look]. When you feel great and you feel energetic, that makes you look better."

Christie: 'I Saw Cindy Crawford Naked and She Was Perfect'

Brinkley also commented on the controversy surrounding Cindy Crawford's alleged unretouched Marie Claire magazine photo, saying she saw Crawford naked last year, and she had no cellulite or sags as depicted in the leaked photos (see video). "I just shared a dressing room with Cindy Crawford a year ago," Brinkley recalled. "She was perfect."

Christie explained: "We're in the dressing room and I turned around to grab something and Cindy is stark naked stepping into something. She looked perfect. It was kind of annoying. I was very inspired and went home and did my exercises."

Brinkley said she doesn't know if the leaked photo is real or fake, but she thinks Crawford looks amazing at 49. "I honestly don't know if that picture is for real," said Christie. "I know there's people that would like to believe it, but I'm telling you with my own eyes, she was perfect. I know she takes really good care of herself."

Meanwhile, the photographer who snapped the Marie Claire photo shoot threatened to sue the Telegraph newspaper for publishing what he claims were stolen photos that were doctored to make Crawford look old and saggy.

"It has been falsely claimed that this photograph represents an un-retouched image of Cindy Crawford. This is not true," photographer John Russo said in a sworn statement. "It is a fraudulent altered version of my photograph."

Ironically, Cindy was widely praised after the unretouched photo surfaced online, with fans saying they loved the picture because it showed Crawford looking "real" and honest. While Crawford's photographer claims the photo was Photoshopped to make her bad, Marie Claire magazine confirmed its authenticity in a statement last month, calling the picture "real and honest."

Marie Claire explained: "An unretouched photo of Cindy Crawford has been circulating on Twitter this morning, revealing a body that defies expectationsâ€"it is real, it is honest, and it is gorgeous."
